Here is my travel pics that i have taken during my stay in Thoeng for the last 7 days. I been to Phayao, Chiang Khong, Chiang Sean, Maesai and the n back to Thoeng. It a damn tiring drive lol cos i have to visit relatives Thoeng is SE of CR airport about 80 km ++ One of the attaction near Thoeng are Phu Chi Fah Forest Park. where tourist go there to see sunrise. I hear from her relative that it very nice. no time to go this trip. the next trip i will sure to go there and have a visit. 2 places i have so far visited are Phu Sang Waterfall about east of Thoeng town and the other is Huasai Man View Point where you can see laos it between Chiang Khong and Chiang Sean, have to drive up the hill it the border of thai n laos. I will put in the picture later. Renting a car there is not a problem. I rent the car from the airport. A Toyota Vios 1.5(A) cost 1,100 each day if u rent more then 6 days. I prefer National Car Rental cos their price is quite ok. S.M.T Rent-A-Car CO. Ltd Tel: +66-537-936-83 www.smtrentacar.comchiangrai@smtrentacar.com Next trip proberly i will rent a bigger car cos need to bring family out. this trip 8 pple in the car >.< 5 adults 3 childrens. It quite fun anyway. get to see alot of things while driving and learn the way how the thai local live, unlike in the big cities such as bangkok... etc. So stay tune to the picture i post later Here is a rough idea how big is thoeng town hehehe Got this map from one resort website. there is are resort there. nason-resort.com/

lol they are not. the last 2nd n 3rd photo is taken during the nite of loy katong. why u see circle circle on the pic are bcos of the bugs flying around. hehehehe No offence, but what makes you say that the "orbs" are bugs (you mean "fireflies"?) and not something supernatural? I mean, how do you know for sure they are bugs? I'm curious because some people believe these orbs on photos are ghosts. Extract from Wikipedia: Orb (paranormal) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Example of a Naturalistic Orb Enlarge Example of a Naturalistic Orb Orbs is the popular name given to typically circular anomalies appearing in photographs. In photography and video, orbs appear to be balls, diamonds, or smears of light with an apparent size in the image ranging from a golfball to a basketball. Orbs sometimes appear to be in motion, leaving a trail behind them. There are two main schools of thought regarding the cause of orbs in photographs. The first school sees it as a fairly clear-cut case of flash reflection off of dust, particles, insects, or moisture droplets in the air in front of the camera, i.e. they are naturalistic. The opposing school maintains that orbs are paranormal in nature, i.e. non-naturalistic. While some people claim that orbs are more likely to appear in certain locales, or are attracted to human actitivities, especially those involving children. The images on the Internet fora devoted to orbs are taken in graveyards, backyards, attics, and kitchens, as well as bars, convention centers, and city streets – in short, anywhere people may be taking photos. As orb photos may demonstrably be gained anywhere, the position of "ghost hunters" who claim orb photos are more common in allegedly haunted areas is significantly weakened. That orb photos can be gained anywhere has, however, been adopted into the position of conspiracy theorists who maintain that orbs are probes/devices being used by an alien culture to monitor human activities. Orb photos have become so common that some ghost-hunting organizations are no longer accepting submissions of them, or specifying that only "exceptional" examples be presented.
